The FST compound in June '72
The tall tent on the left was originally used by the radiographer but he moved out when the new operating theatre was built. The "F" assembly behind it was the original operating theatre.
The Bonallack refrigerated container in the forground was used as a morgue and beer cooler.

Behind that is the original Station Medical Centre with its store and lavatory block to the right. On the far right is the corner of the new operating theatre.

Power for the enterprise was supplied by the diesel generator in the foreground  whose compressed air tank always seemed to be "MT" when it was most needed.
