There were a significant number of old or ancient weapons which dated back to before WWI and there were the more modern weapons that were in use in the years immediately after WWII.

No chemical or biological weapons were used other than phosphorus bombs in the 81mm mortar. (We saw no phosphorus burns in the FST in the Spring and Summer of 1972)

The adoo usually had weapons sourced from the Eastern Bloc and the Sultans Forces were supplied by the West.
