There were both
Royal Air Force and Royal Army Medical Corps Field Surgical
Teams at RAF Salalah.
There was even a Tri-Service Team but it only contained one
member from the RN !
The

Sharwood-Smith who was the anaesthetist to the RAF FST
which was at Salalah from July to November in 1975
